From geopolitical wars to climate collapse and media-driven despair, 2025 is filled with crises. But panic won’t save us, calm and resolve will. Here’s why...
Mo, you are a much-appreciated realist—you see the world with clarity. I align with much of what you say: the multitude of issues created by the bully, the cancerous problems deliberately fostered by social and mainstream media, and the ticking time bomb of Modern Monetary Theory, perpetuated by Keynes and adopted by most (but not all) of the world. You are 100% correct on these points. Where I respectfully disagree is that chaos and dystopia are inevitable. Highly probable? Yes. Inevitable? No. Take care, and safe travels.
Well said! You may find the work of physicist Fritjof Capra of interest. He argues the true root cause of our present crisis (or crises plural) is a fundamentally flawed world view. Our linear/mechanistic view is predicated upon self-assertion and infinite growth on a finite planet. It's a shift from "quantitative" progress to qualitative that may be the key. Here's a short essay from him https://www.fritjofcapra.net/qualitative-growth/
I wish I could be as calm collected and with clear mind as Mo. Anxiety and indignation are high here in the United States because efficiency is confused with precipitation; so much has happened in 11 weeks. Further, the current adminitration is perceived as arrogant and disrepectful of citizens who are different.

Why aren’t there more people like you coming out of the Tech and AI industry???
I’m trying to find the latest chapter of Alive? A Brief History of Tech.. has it been released yet 🤔
Hello Mo,
I am a huge fan, possibly your biggest supporter on #linkedin.
I was travelling for three weeks ( Dubai, London, Chile ) and tried to sign up from the start, but for some reason, I couldn't.
I am back home in Ireland now and managed to sign up last night.
I really look forward to the journey here on Substack and would love to grab a coffee one day.
I cannot believe I missed your talk at Peters Diamandis 360 Abundance Summit I am unsure what happened!
Agape
Matt
